Marco Gutierrez is a Costa Rican realtor living on the southern Pacific coast. Marco has lived there since 2008, is a resident of Costa Rica and is fully bilingual.
Marco is passionate about what he does. He moved to Ojochal, Costa Rica following his 2 years of property development in Sacramento California. Originally, he was brought here by the lure of adventure, natural beauty, quality of life and opportunity. Those elements are what keep him here today. Originally from Texas, Marco landed in Costa Rica via Honolulu Hawaii, where he owned a custom Furniture shop and Photography Studio.
During his first year in the country, he worked for a local developer giving his expertise in wood manufacturing. Following countless adventures in Costa Rica photographing its resources, people and destinations, he quickly found himself involved in a lifelong love affair with the country.
Starting in 2011, he opened his first business in the area providing printing for the local market and businesses. Having previous development experience, his transition into real estate in 2014 came very naturally.
Marco is an award winning photographer in Costa Rica. He also works closely with all of Coldwell Bankers agents to provide quality photos and video for residential and hotels in Costa Rica. Having visited places around the world, Marco knows Costa Rica is where he considers “home” to be. Taking pride in empowering his clients, uncovering the best recipe for success in this country, working with the highest level of integrity and always enjoying life are the guiding principals of his work. Marco also enjoys community projects, surfing, cooking and spending time with his family; he currently lives in Bahia Ballena with his wife Lupe and their 2 sons Cesar and Santiago.
