The province of Guanacaste is divided into a few regions from a geographical standpoint Far northern Guanacaste is dry and hot and home to a dry topical forest where less than 59 inches of rain fall in a single year There are three national parks here Santa Rose on the Peninsula Santa Elena which is an extension of Guanacaste National Park and Rincon de la Vieja Cattle ranching is one of the main economic streams in this region The other is of course tourism as people come from all over the world to visit the famous beaches here As a result rentals in Guanacaste Costa Rica can be found for both families and for groups who come here to enjoy the wonderful nature on display
The Nicoya Peninsula has beaches that run practically all the way down its length Some of the beaches are less well developed than others but all of them are beautiful and of course there are resort towns for most of them In this region many of the roads are unpaved so most people rent four wheel drive vehicles after they debark in Liberia capital of the province and gateway to the Pacific Coast Here you will find Guanacaste rentals with beautiful views overlooking the Pacific Ocean where you can see sail boats and surfers enjoying the crystal blue waters or better still get on the water yourself for swimming snorkeling or scuba diving
