There aren t a lot of museums or interesting colonial architecture to be found in this region but folks who come here are more interested in the water sports anyway If they re not interested in water sports they re heading into the interior to go hike up a volcano or take a canopy tour Playa Panama villas are nice places to come home to after a long day of swimming or surfing or hiking or horseback riding This region is just excellent for the laidback individual who wants to kick back and relax for a week or two or even more Practically every hotel and resort will have a doctor on call of course and if needed there s a hospital about 20 miles away in Liberia
